“Amistad’s Kids” at Sweet Home Orphanage in India When Mrs. Lilly Kaligithi founded the Sweet Home Orphanage near the Bay of Bengal, India, in 1996, she never dreamed she would be responsible for 66 children. This year two anonymous Amistad donors gave funds to build a road through the campus and a garage for their bus. We also purchased sewing machines and sports equipment for the children. Five donors are now sponsoring orphans. If you’d the reward of sponsoring a child, the cost is $45 per month. We thank all who are helping in India.
